For an outdoor destination where 90% of the activities are free, Banff was definitely more expensive than I thought. My tips for saving money on your trip are:
🚗 Only rent a car for when you'll need it (which might be less often than you think!)
🏨 Don't splurge on accommodations, since you'll be out and about exploring all day
🥪 Pack lunches when you can
