This talk by Fabian Voigt ( / voigtvision ) describes the design of a novel type of microscope objective with large field-of-view, long-working distance, and high numerical aperture that can be used to image in any homogeneous liquid medium.
The work was carried out in the laboratory of Fritjof Helmchen at the University of Zurich as part of the mesoSPIM initative.
