A wonderful documentary with a lot of coverage of Barbara's early folk club days and her subsequent rise to acting and west-end musical fame, and then her return to singing and playing folk song once more.
I do hope BBC TV airs this again or that Alba add the whole program to their Youtube Channel.
The program featured especially recorded duets with Archie Fisher, Danny Thompson, Rab Noakes, Troy Donockley and Billy Connolly. with anecdotal contributions from Ian McCalman, Willy Russell, Dave Emery, Oliver Cookson (Barbara's husband), Troy Donockley and, of course, the Big Yin himself.
