The Iqamah (إِقَامَة) is the second call to prayer in Islam, recited right before the prayer begins in the mosque. Iqamat is recited after the Adhan to signal those already present in the mosque to stand and form rows for the Salah. The Iqamah, also known as Iqamat or Takbir, is recited in Arabic with its meaning in English often shared for better understanding.
