In Class 7 of our Sports Psychology Summer Series, Coach Jack takes a deeper dive into the concept of controllables—what we can and cannot control in sports and life—and how to determine the "right" course of action. Athletes often face challenges where it's unclear what the best move is, but by focusing on what we can control and letting go of the rest, we can make better decisions that lead to success.
This class will teach athletes how to identify their controllables, make clear decisions under pressure, and trust their choices. It's about staying calm, focused, and confident when the game gets tough.
For kids enrolled in our July and August programs, this is an important lesson to watch before camp. Gaining an understanding of controllables will help you make better decisions both on and off the court. If you’re eager to start earlier, feel free to hop into the June session! Our mission is to guide athletes toward mental resilience and smarter decision-making.
Parents, we will release the full playlist next week so you can revisit these lessons at any time. Check out the updated sports psychology summer schedule below.
