CAPTIVATING FROM THE OUTSET
Style meets substance in a four-door grand tourer that exudes road presence. On the one hand, there is the engine for which Bentley has become famous – the smooth and supremely powerful 6.0 litre, twin-turbocharged W12. On the other is a racetrack-proven 4.0 litre, twin-turbocharged V8 engine, complete with its inimitable V8 roar.

The 6.0 litre W12 engine can propel the Flying Spur from 0 to 60 mph in just 3.7 seconds (0 to 100 km/h in 3.8 seconds) – performance literally unheard of in the world of the luxury sedan. Its maximum speed is an incredible 207 mph (333 km/h). The 4.0 litre V8 engine is naturally a lighter unit. While slightly less powerful, its reduced weight offers benefits in kind, most notably in agility and acceleration – resulting in a top speed of 198 mph (318 km/h) and the ability to accelerate from zero to 60 mph in just 4.0 seconds (0-100 km/h in 4.1 seconds).
