A journey between the edge of T2A to the T2B satellite at Heathrow. Featuring a long Schindler escalator, 3 Kone Travelators and 2 Kone escalators…
While all built at the same time they used different architects, building contractors and equipment suppliers for T2a and B. Hence Kone and Schindler being used together.
This terminal is the newest here, opening in June 2014. The Schindler escalators at the start are the 2nd longest at Heathrow - after the long Kone E3Xs down to the transit shuttle in T5A
