Another great run!! This is getting repetitive!

This is becoming a very functional setup gear wise. The 110 Frank board is my favorite, no doubt about it. I thought I was going to like the 120L the best but that hasn't been the case. I asked Jon about why he was more interested with the 110 vs the 120 a while back... The answer wasn't really what I thought and not what I got first off either, I had to dig a little. I was thinking it was to do with the literage ad not wanting it to feel corky or something like that... basically on water performance but him him it was that he wanted a smaller board once up. That makes sense... especially if youre good enough to get up most anything. Why wouldn't you?

This was kind of a new thing for me though. I mean... I know the concept and personally would love a small board once up also especially if it didn't cost anything in paddle performance. I don't think ive been using this metric though personally... Ive been stuck in the ( must be easy to paddle up) mentality. Why? fear of failure most likely. What if I find it hard!? what if someone see me struggling or fall off! Things along those lines. What if I good enough now that that isn't the case or even better or just as useful, what if I don't need to try make everything look/be easy?

This might be a new era for me! so thank you Jon, and all the other peeps or factors that I get inspiration from. I do want to start doing some racing to better myself as a rider and all around human. Maybe that ties into it.

Anyway, I thought id want the 120 and I do but now it's more for deflates. The 110 though has become my favorite. Actually you know what else open my eyes to that decision? flat water. I did a day of flat water with David. I noticed the 110 was easier for me to paddle up than the 120. I think it's just a matter of mass, the 110 is less to lift off for me and the foil. Anyway those things combined and I now have a favorite and the best thing is the ride on foil is better! I mean it has to be, although it's not overly noticeable really.

What about the 100L? is that crazy? it might be... Who even am I?

I digress. This run was great. The board was great. The foil setup was great. The weather was great. The run was great. The guys were great. Life is great.
