Fest64

Oh yeah, it's a good one. I play the first Mario Party with the goal of reaching credits. That means unlocking and playing Eternal Star, which requires... 100 stars in the bank. A giant amount honestly! Luckily with the help of multiple controllers it cuts the grind down significantly, and yet this was still the longest game in Fest64 so far lol.

As for MP1 itself, they got a ton right on the first try. But in a situation like this the cracks begin to show, repeat minigames are extremely common especially in team ones (count the Pipe Mazes), some really bad boards too. Overall the vibes are off the charts and MP is always fun. Just not a lot of reason to play this over better parties given the choice, but I do still love it.

Fest64 is my personal goal to complete All US/PAL Nintendo 64 games with a handful of JP thrown in. I stream everything and the next game is decided randomly!
