Why I DIDN’T Buy the Tracer 700 (and Got the MT-07 Instead)

I’m on vacation in Spain which means I got to ride my uncle’s Yamaha Tracer 700 again. I really like the bike obviously. It’s similar to my MT-07 in a lot of ways, but even though I got to try this bike before any other A2 motorcycle, I never completely fell in love with it.

In this video I share my honest experience riding the Tracer 700 and explain why I still chose the 2025 Yamaha MT-07 instead. We’ll talk about wind protection, comfort, handling, storage, passenger comfort, fuel capacity and price. I’ll cover what the Tracer does better, where the MT-07 shines and why in the end the MT-07 just felt right for me.
