The videocamera was new and the Guilford Rail System was always offering something interesting for railfans. On January 9, 1987 my friend and I would visit the yard in East Deerfield, Massachusetts and nearby locations. Arrival at the west end of yard at the "Railfan Bridge" would yield an old B&M SW9 working and a set of power coming out of the engine house to be used on eastbound train EDLA. We caught that train a couple times and then back to the yard for westbound POME departing, and soon after, northbound train EDWJ. Unfortunately being new to the world of videotape, I dubbed this footage and the quality suffered. Fortunately modern editing software was able to help somewhat.
