Who are we?
Hi! We're Lindsey and Caleb, and starting January 2025, we decided to quit our jobs, pack as much as we could into a few carry ons, and travel around the world. Join us as we take on adventures like staying in Thailand's most unique accommodations, trekking to Everest base camp, and motorcycling the Ha Giang Loop in Vietnam.

Our 12-hour scooter adventure around Siargao revealed why this island is so much more than just a surfing destination - and why the famous "Siargao curse" is very real. Starting from General Luna, we headed north to Maasin Bridge where locals test their courage jumping into the tidal waters below, then cooled off in the stunning turquoise waters of Tayangban Cave Pool. The real discovery was Dirth North Kitchen - a hidden restaurant that lived up to its secret gem status. Reaching Das Monument at the island's northern tip gave us panoramic views of the Pacific, but the highlight was finding a completely secluded waterfall where we had the entire tropical paradise to ourselves. Covering the full loop of Siargao in one day showed us pristine beaches, jungle roads, local villages, and natural wonders that make this island truly special. Ending back in General Luna with halo-halo was the perfect finish to an epic day of island exploration that proved Siargao deserves its reputation as one of the Philippines' most beautiful islands - and why visitors often find themselves extending their stay indefinitely.
