The new high-steer front geometry, with its portal axle housing, let me pivot tight corners and lift wheels cleanly over obstacles. Inside, all-metal portal gears, ring-and-pinion drives, and machined aluminum spools and chassis rails give the chassis rock-solid durability. The aluminum-capped, oil-filled shocks soaked up big impacts, and the hex-drive hardware and underdrive gear set made fine tuning a breeze. Nice shell, on a forward-tilt mount with LED lights, still turns heads, now in two eye-popping colors. And when you’re ready to push further, same parts as the brushed Ascent-18 and MT-18: brass skid plates, aluminum shock bodies, steel gear sets, you name it.
I can say without doubt it’s the best 1:18 scale crawler so far of 2025
