Sur la côte Est, au nord de Batticaloa, une grande plage fréquentée par les cinghalais est l'occasion pour nous de retrouver la vie du Sri Lanka telle que nous l'avions connue il y a 30 ans avant l'explosion du tourisme dans le sud du pays.
Durant notre séjour, notre hôtel a été le siège d'un séminaire organisé par une grande entreprise de textile de la région qui a souhaité récompenser ses meilleurs ouvriers. Une occasion pour nous de côtoyer durant une soirée de jeunes cinghalais joyeux et bienveillants.

SRI LANKA: Pasikudah beach
On the east coast, north of Batticaloa, a large beach frequented by the Sinhalese is the occasion for us to rediscover the life of Sri Lanka as we had known it 30 years ago before the explosion of tourism in the south of the country.
During our stay, our hotel was the seat of a seminar organised by a large textile company in the region which wanted to reward its best workers. It was an opportunity for us to spend an evening with young Sinhalese people who were cheerful and friendly.
