The town of Técső [Tyacsiv, Tačová, Teceu Mare] lies on the Ukraine- Romanian border in the Maramures region in Transcarpathia. For centuries many different ethnic groups have been living together here. The Técső Band knows and plays the music of all these people. Their musical milieu is playing for weddings, village balls, and other local celebrations all over the region. The unique sound of the instruments and their musical skill has been honed and melded together over the generations.
The film crew followed them to many kinds of gigs both in Hungary and in and around Técső.

Técső városa a román-ukrán határon fekszik, a történelmi Máramaros területén, Ukrajnában.
Évszázadok óta több etnikum él itt együtt. A Técsői Banda valamennyiük zenéjét ismeri és játssza. Zenei világuk a falusi bálok, esküvők és egyéb ünnepi események. A magas szintű zenei tudás és az egyedi hangzású hangszerek ismerete nemzedékeken át egyre tökéletesedett.
A filmes stáb két éven át követte őket fellépéseiken.
