Today a Supersteer Radius Rod kit was installed in the Newmar 2018 Canyon Star 3911. The installation was completed by Jeremy at Glenn's Tire in Melbourne FL.
An improvement in handling was noticed soon after leaving the shop. The F53 chassis is designed with a heavy duty front I Beam suspension. There is an amount of "play" in the suspension that manifests as a "sloppy" feel in steering.
The radius rods remove much of this "play" and keeps the I Beam perpendicular to the center line of chassis.
The radius rods complement the existing Panhard rod in maintaining the I beam's orientation and alignment to the chassis.
