Finally Made It To Maine But It's Not Working Out The Way I Thought It Would.

Hi Guys! Well, we made it! We have officially arrived in Maine for our summer to remember. We are killing some time until we can check into our final destination in a couple of weeks. Because last summer was so cold an rainy, I really wanted to kick off this trip with a bang! That bang has turned into THUD! We got to Hermon and were welcomed with cold, rainy weather. One of my favorite foods is a good old Maine Italian and one of my favorite places to get this sandwich is Amato's. To my surprise I found an Amato's Xpress in Holden. https://www.amatos.com/location/holden/
These are some of the best sandwiches and to me, something that identifies Maine.
Speaking of food...we also went to The Sea Dog Brewing Company in Camden which hit the spot on a cold rainy day. https://www.seadogbrewing.com
Lastly, our trip to Bar Harbor and Acadia National Park https://www.nps.gov/acad/index.htm did not go as planned. I was upset but at first but to be honest, I'm always down for a seaside drive.
Anyway, our trip may be starting slow but I promise that we are going to post some pretty amazing things this summer.
