For centuries the nodes of the Moon 'Rahu' and 'Ketu' have baffled Vedic astrologers in terms of the results they give in their 'mahadasha' and 'antardasha'.

In fact, when it comes to analyzing their influence in a person's life from the perspective of transits, it becomes even more tricky as there doesn't really seem to be a consensus on how to look at and understand at their impact.

I have spent a lot of years reading, writing and researching on the topic of the 'nodes' and have been lucky to have received a lot of love and recognition for the same. In this series, I seek to share this knowledge with my viewers along with a very unique perspective that will not only help you understand the energy of the nodes but also how to channel that energy to fulfill your life purpose.

WHAT IS 'KETU' MAHADASHA?

'Ketu mahadasha' is that period of your life where the shadow planet 'Ketu' gains prominence in your life. The energy of the South Node of the Moon, 'Ketu' is an energy of release, letting go and working towards 'moksha'.

However, the attainment of 'moksha' is not something that is a straight forward path or even 'apparent'. It requires a lot of 'letting go' and having the courage and surrender to be lead by life towards your highest calling.

The period of the South node of the Moon 'Ketu' is that period where the native is given another chance to resolve past life 'karma' and 'let go' your attachment with being a certain way and defaulting to certain patterns.

Now, this is exactly what makes this period very difficult. That 'Ketu Maharaj' is an entity who will suddenly take away anything that is keeping you attached to 'maaya' and keeping you stuck.

'Ketu mahadasha' will require that you look beyond your personal biases and preconceptions about life and learn to 'look within' and listen to your heart and pay attention to your intuition about what is 'needed' of you in this moment of time in life.
