SOCOM Torture Test! MR556A4 & Lazarus 6 !

Rather than your typical review, we decided to do a torture test on the brand new MR556A4 upper receiver. We wanted to see if not having a chrome lined barrel had an effect on the overall accuracy or performance of the barrel. Below are all the testing parameters. Thank you so much for watching!

Dead Air Customer Service:
I called Dead Air after I filmed this video and posed as a customer, I did not mention a video or YT at all. I explained we had just done a SOCOM Test with the L6, and that the suppressor had a minor baffle strike due to user error. Even though this was my fault and the test was intentional they told me they would either repair it or replace it with no problems. I realize DA has had some issues in the past but I honestly believe they are headed in the right direction in the present.

IMI M855 62gr 5.56
Sig Sauer Marksman Elite 77gr OTM 5.56
Hornady Superformance Match 75gr BTHP 5.56
Frontier 75gr BTHP Match

SOCOM Testing Parameters:
8 Cycles of the SOCOM Firing Schedule 1920rds of ammo
Suppressed gas setting
Conducted over about 5 hours
20-25 minute cool down between cycles
Barrel was allowed to cool to 90• F
Suppressor was allowed to cool to 130• F
Ambient temp was about 80• outside
Lazarus 6 was mounted with a PTR DT mount
PMC X-Tac 55gr 5.56 2000rds
Lazarus 6 got to an unreadable temp every string but the DT mount read just over 900• F
Barrel got to about 450• F during every string
