this is part two of a two-part series known as " Okefenokee on the cheap". This video offers a look at what you can do with as little as $5 in the Okefenokee swamp. $5 is parking fee when you get to the Refuge . My first video was of the trails, homestead, boardwalk and general area around the boat basin.If You have your own canoe, Jon boat, or kayak you can for no money. put in at the boat landing and have a very scenic very peaceful trip into the heart of the Okefenokee. If you want to You can try out the fishing along the canal and many lakes dotting the swamp. The warmouth, bluegill and chain pickerel are pretty decent. table fare. If a good fight is what you're looking for. a mud fish will give you a run for your money. You can paddle out to to cedar hammock or coffee Bay for a good lunch on the swamp.
