This video felt a bit less significant than some recent videos, I’ve known for a while I need to tweak a few bits in the interface circuit but I had been putting it off. Here I create some much needed space on the backplane by shrinking the interface board down, tweaking the memory map a little to match my current plans and add some additional registers. This doesn’t really move the functionality forward but I needed to do this before I start on the very next vga component, The sprite hardware!
