Buldan, Denizli ilinin bir ilçesidir. 2020 yılı TÜİK verilerine göre nüfusu 27.223'tür. Dokumacılık (tekstil) konusunda tüm Türkiye'de meşhur bir ilçedir. İlçeye has olan Buldan bezi dünyaca ünlü bir dokuma türüdür.

Yayla (Süleymanlı) Gölü ve Kestane Deresi ilçenin önemli doğal güzellikleri arasındadır. İlçe sınırları içinde Yenicekent Mahallesi'nde Tripolis Antik Kenti bulunmaktadır. Derbent köyünde ise sulama amaçlı kullanılan Derbent Barajı bulunmaktadır. İlçe dağ yamacına kurulmuştur ve 3 tarafı dağlarla çevrilidir. İlçenin en yüksek noktası 1151 m ile Geleyli Tepesi'dir.

Denizli Merkez'e 42 km uzaklıktadır. En yakın demiryoluna 18 km uzaklıktadır. İlçeden Denizli-Manisa karayolu geçer. Komşuları Manisa-Sarıgöl, Aydın-Buharkent, Denizli-Akköy, Denizli-Sarayköy ilçeleridir.
Buldan'a bağlı toplam 45 mahalle vardır.
Osmanlı ve Cumhuriyet dönemlerinin özelliklerini yansıtan, Buldan yöresine özgü mimari özellikleri ile Buldan Evleri Çarşı, Çaybaşı, Yeşildere, Girne ve Helvacılar mahallelerini kapsayan bir alana yayılır. Evler kentsel SİT kapsamında koruma altına alınmış. Birbirlerinin manzarasını engellemeyecek şekilde inşa edilen evler saçak ve bacaları, cumbalı sundurmaları, işlemeli kapı ve pencereleriyle ayrı bir güzellik taşır. Tarihi Buldan Evleri'ni gelecek yıllara taşımak amacıyla gerçekleştirilen restorasyon çalışmaları sayesinde 117 ev ve 31 sokak tescilli eser olarak koruma altındadır. Örneğin, Beyler Sokağı ve Dokuma Pazarı Caddesi elden geçirilme sürecinde kapı ve pencereleri aslına uygun şekilde ahşap malzeme ile yenilenen, sarı ve mavi renklere boyanmış evleriyle dikkat çeker.

Buldan is a district of Denizli Province. According to TUIK data for 2020, its population is 27,223. It is a famous town in Turkey for weaving (textile). Buldan cloth, which is unique to the district, is a world-famous weaving type.

Plateau (Süleymanlı) Lake and Kestane Stream are among the important natural beauties of the district. There is Tripolis Ancient City in Yenicekent Neighborhood within the boundaries of the district. In Derbent village, there is Derbent Dam, which is used for irrigation purposes. The district is built on the mountain slope and is surrounded by mountains on 3 sides. The highest point of the district is Geleyli Hill with 1151 m.

It is 42 km from Denizli Center. It is 18 km from the nearest railway. Denizli-Manisa highway passes through the district. Its neighbors are Manisa-Sarıgöl, Aydın-Buharkent, Denizli-Akköy, Denizli-Sarayköy districts.

The houses, which were built in such a way that they do not block the view of each other, have a different beauty with their eaves and chimneys, bay windows, inlaid doors and windows. Thanks to the restoration works carried out to carry the historical Buldan Houses to future years, 117 houses and 31 streets are under protection as registered works. For example, Beyler Sokağı and Dokuma Pazarı Caddesi draw attention with their houses painted in yellow and blue colors, the doors and windows of which were renovated in accordance with the original material during the overhaul process.
