Vincent Van Gogh tragically ended his life on July 27, 1890, in the French Village of Auvers. Van Gogh, born in 1853, struggled with loneliness, persecution, and madness, with only one of his paintings sold during his lifetime. Despite his difficult life, Van Gogh's artistic genius became widely recognized in the early 1900s, and his paintings gained significant financial value. Van Gogh's art, characterized by bold brushstrokes and emotional expression, challenged traditional conceptions of art, especially in terms of color usage.
