In this video, we travel to Ardèche in December, a calm and atmospheric time to explore this beautiful region in southern France.
During our stay, we visited the Ardèche River several times, experiencing its winter mood, dramatic limestone scenery, and peaceful surroundings far from the busy summer season.
In the second part of the video, we visit Rochecolombe, a small medieval village built into the rock above the Ibie Valley. Walking through its stone houses, narrow paths, and castle ruins offers a glimpse into the region’s history.
We then continue with a short scenic hike of around 7 km, following forest trails around Rochecolombe. The route passes through oak and pine woodland, rocky paths, and quiet viewpoints overlooking the village and the Ardèche landscape.
This video focuses on slow travel, nature, and heritage, capturing Ardèche in a quiet winter setting.
