This week on Sewing Tech Talk, the topic is Embroidery on Knits, and Cathy shares the most important ingredients to stitch out perfect embroidery on the fussiest of knits. Cathy discusses the various knits available, from stable knits to slinky knits, as well as how to choose the design most suitable for your knit fabric of choice. Then, she applies these concepts to the flimsiest, most difficult knit fabric to demonstrate the process of choosing the right stabilizers, design, hooping technique, and bobbin thread. Cathy also shows us how to transfer designs wirelessly from our computer to the all-new WiFi-enabled Baby Lock Vesta. Follow along as Cathy shows us how to baste before embroidering, change design colors on the screen, and stitch out a couple dragonflies.
