In this video, I share the fastest and easiest way to cut flagstone. In my last video about how to install a flagstone patio (watch it here: • How To Install A Flagstone Patio (Step-by-... ) I used a 4-inch angle grinder to cut the flagstone.
That was a mistake! It took forever and vibrated the crap out of my hands until they were numb.
So in this video, I share a much easier method that will save you a ton of time, reduce dust dramatically, and just make your project more fun.
Whether you are installing a flagstone patio or a flagstone walkway, you'll inevitably need to make some cuts. So watch the video to learn the best way.

Really, any kind of circular saw will work to cut flagstone as long as you have a diamond-coated blade on that saw. But, the larger the diameter of the blade, the faster the cuts will go. So in this case, bigger is better.
In some cases, you can use a hammer and a chisel to cut the flagstone. But, that only works with certain types of flagstone (they aren't all the same).
