[First sub-39, old World Record] Might & Magic VII Speedrun - Any% (NMG) -

Finally a sub-39 run. Time was lost in only a few places: ~10s entering the pit and the deliberate 10-15s getting a second haste pot at the end were the biggest. Then deaths on chests and air magic books. The margin of error is too small for this route to work sub-38 in my opinion.
This goal has been a particularly brutal speedrunning experience. The RNG this time round seemed to be far more unforgiving than I remember..
