Padmanabhapuram Palace, also known as Kalkulam Palace, is a Travancore era palace in Padmanabhapuram, Kanyakumari district, Tamil Nadu, India.

The palace is Over 400 years old.

The palace is considered to be the largest wooden palace in all of Asia.

Spread over an area of 6.5acres and boasts of intricate woodwork that highlights the outstanding skills of the artisans of the past.

The government of the neighbouring state of Kerala owns, manages, and maintains the palace.

Padmanabhapuram was the historical capital city of Travancore. It is around 20 kilometres from Nagercoil, 39 kilometres from Kanyakumari town, and 52 kilometres from Thiruvananthapuram in Kerala.

The palace is situated near the Veli Hills.
Veli hills are part of the Western Ghats. The Valli River flows nearby.
