Bhagavad-gītā 1.21–1.22
Translation:
Arjuna said: O infallible one (Acyuta), please draw my chariot between the two armies so that I may see those present here, who desire to fight, and with whom I must contend in this great trial of arms. (1.21–1.22)
🌸 In this lecture, Śrīla Prabhupāda, Founder-Ācārya of ISKCON, reveals the deep significance of Arjuna addressing Kṛṣṇa as Acyuta—the one who never falls. Even though Arjuna was the mightiest warrior, he depended on the Lord to guide him. This marks the beginning of surrender—when a soul turns to Kṛṣṇa for direction amidst life’s battles.
✨ Śrīla Prabhupāda beautifully explains that the chariot of Arjuna represents the body, and Kṛṣṇa as the charioteer represents the Supersoul guiding every living being. Only when we allow Kṛṣṇa to “place our chariot” as He desires can we truly see life’s purpose and act under divine guidance.
