In Full: Suella Braverman speaks at Tory party conference

Suella Braverman said Rishi Sunak would make a decision on HS2 “in the best interests of our country”.

The Home Secretary said the Prime Minister is “putting the long-term interests of the British people, the British economy, ahead of everything else”.

On a visit to Bolton this morning she told broadcasters: “I know that he’s going to be making his mind up and making a decision for the country in the best interests of our country.
