The Southern Pacific Daylight train was one of the most charming icons of America's railroading history. The Daylight train, colorful, elegant and attractive from the inside to outside, was the highest grossing train in America in the 1940s 💎, followed by the MILW's Hiawatha and NYC's the 20th Century Limited.

This is a 3-part video showing the SP GS-2/4/6 racing with UP 844 and the NYC Dreyfuss Hudson.
