Video 1 in a series showing how to cut iron on pattern pieces starting with a PDF pattern. This video shows how to import a PDF file to Inkscape, and create an SVG file from the PDF. Uses Inkscape and Cricut Design Studio- both free online software. This method is shown for the Cricut machines, but will have some similarities to the process on cutting on other cutting marchines.
In my next videos, I’ll show how to import an SVG file to Cricut Design Studio, how to add other details to your pattern (sewing line, text, pattern markings) and save as a PDF.
