We're in the Maaser El Shouf Cedar Forest, at 1,750 meters above sea level. The scenery is beautiful and peaceful, and the air is crystal clear. This picturesque landscape also inspired the French poet Lamartine.

Csontváry Kosztka Tivadar’s painting “The Lonely Cedar” was also inspired by the Lebanese cedars.

We're in the Bekaa Valley, at the famous Château Kefraya winery. We came here for a Sunday lunch - the surroundings are absolutely beautiful, calm, and full of charm.
Even though the winery is closed today, it's still the perfect spot to relax and enjoy a peaceful afternoon.

It's early October, and we're in the Sannine Mountains of Lebanon, at over two thousand meters above sea level.

környezet, tiszta a levegó. Ez a
festöi táj ihlette meg La Martine francia költot is.
Csontváry Kosztka Tivadar Magányos Cédrus festményét is a libanoni cédrusok ihlették.

A Bekaa-völgyben jarunk, a hires Château Kefraya borászatnal. Vasárnapi ebédre
erkeztünk ide - a környezet egyszeruen
varázslatos, minden olyan bekés és rendezett.
A borászat ma ugyan zárva tart, de a hangulat így is tökéletes egy kis pihenéshez és finom
falatokhoz.

Október elejen jarunk itt, a libanoni Sannin-hegységben, több mint kétezer méter
magasan.
