Visiting Tiger’s Nest (Paro Taktsang) was nothing short of magical 🇧🇹✨
Paro is unbelievably beautiful – clean air, silent mountains, prayer flags flowing with the wind, and a calm that instantly slows you down. The journey itself feels spiritual even before you reach the destination.
The Tiger’s Nest trek, however, is not easy at all. Steep climbs, uneven paths, and high altitude make every step challenging. It really tests your stamina, patience, and mindset.
We gave it our best, but could manage to reach only till the café viewpoint – and honestly, even that view was absolutely worth it. From there, the monastery looks unreal, hanging on the cliff like something out of a dream.
This trip taught us that sometimes the journey matters more than the destination. Even if you don’t reach the top, Paro and Tiger’s Nest leave a mark on your heart forever ❤️
If you’re planning this trek, be prepared physically, take it slow, and enjoy every moment.
