Hey guys,
Took a small break from phasing on Tangela to knock out a hunt I’ve wanted to do for a really long time, Starmie. Starmie has always been one of my favorite shiny Pokémon & it was never huntable until Gen 5, so what better game to hunt it in.
Thankfully you can use pass powers to raise it from it’s normally 5% rate up to 20%. Single hunting got me about 110 an hour so not super slow but definitely not a quick hunt. Was hoping this one would stay under odds but I ended up going a little over. Definitely worth it though for that shiny & to actually get my target 1st phase!
Also this is the first video I did an intro, I recorded it after my hunt...I wanted to explain the method a bit...so that’s why you’ll see a poke all next to Starmie, but when I catch the shiny Starmie I register it in the dex. Next time I’ll try and remember to do one first!
