A Detailed insight to both the Hornby, and Dapol Class 390 Pendolinos in OO guage. The Dapol model was based on the prototype Class 390 Pendolino, and was designed around 2001. The model was given out as a gift to press and staff to mark the launch of the prototype Class 390 at Washwood Heath. The Hornby Pendolino was launched later in that decade, and was at the forefront of the 'Hornby Digital' campaign.
In this video, we take a closer look at both models, and see the Hornby Pendolino in action!
The long term plan is to get all three models running on the new layout, and I would certainly love to see the Dapol Pendolino in action again!
