TAUTOG Fishing in Rhode Island. Caught our limit by 10am with Flippin Out Charters.

With the saltwater season coming to a close here in Maine, the boys and I needed one more good day of fishing to hold us over until Ice fishing starts. By chance captain BJ Silvia had a full day opening in late October on board Flippin Out Charters. So, at 2:30am we loaded up the truck and drove down to Rhode Island for an epic day of fishing. You are permitted to keep 5 fish per person over 16 inched this time of year and we limited out after only a few hours of fishing. We also caught several sea bass, scup and cunner. If you are looking for a great day of Tog fishing, I highly recommend going with them. They were both professional and extremely knowledgeable.

Thank you all for a great season, the channel has grown tremendously, I have a trip to DC this week and plan on doing some shore fishing so look out for that and obviously ice fishing will be here before we know it.
