This is a serious sweaty fat-burning step and weight workout running at almost *60 minutes long. First, you'll warm up every single muscle with a fun step combo on the bench. Then I'll take you through 5 step combos that each alternate with 5 weight sections. Burn more fat, build lean muscle, and torch calories with this step and weight training workout. Equipment needed: step bench, 2 sets of dumbbells (one light and one heavy), and a mat or towel.
Level: Basic
Description: Start with a great warm-up on the step to get every single muscle warm and ready for weights. After the warm-up, I'll take you through 5 fun step combos (3 fun combos, and 2 more athletic combos to really kick the heart rate up). Following each individual step combo, we'll train the body with weights. (Beginning with the lower body, then chest and triceps, back, shoulders, and then finishing with biceps and triceps.) We'll finish out with a nice relaxing stretch.
*If you don't have time for the full hour, you can break it up in the following way:
-Start with the warm-up, go through the first two sections, (including the weight segments) then skip to the stretch at 54:50.
-Start with the warm-up then skip to the third section at 27:12 and finish to the end.
