Band Land is perhaps the most annoying area of the game in terms of back tracking. You can't get some of the cages until you have the glide ability from a later stage in the area, and you can't actually get all of the cages until you obtain the run ability from the end of the third area... Other that that, it's a pretty fun area with all the musical themes brought to life.
