Pork Sinigang is a classic Filipino dish known for its sour, comforting broth made with tamarind. It’s the kind of soup that warms you up on rainy days and brings back childhood memories for many Filipinos. The beauty of Sinigang is its balance—tender pork, a variety of fresh vegetables, and that distinct sourness that makes it so appetizing.
This dish is the ultimate rainy-day meal: tender pork, fresh vegetables, and a tamarind-based broth that’s perfectly sour and comforting.
Just a quick note: We’re not professional chefs—just a busy working couple with a little one at home who loves to share the meals we cook for our family.
Also, the vegetables are optional. You can add or remove veggies as ingredients according to your preference.
