Moving to Stantec a “no-brainer”: A day in the life of Abbie

Abbie Lovelock is a senior dams engineer in our Christchurch, New Zealand office and believes dams are one of the answers to help solve the world’s future problems, using energy transition. Abbie leads a team of dam engineers involved in monitoring, inspections, safety, upgrades, and hydraulic design.

She moved to Stantec especially for our industry leading dams experts and mentors who span the globe. Abbie works on local projects like the Cashmere Valley Dam, and abroad; she’s proud of her work on a barrier spillway in Calgary, Canada.
