people love this video but i kind of think it's profoundly flawed. it's way too long, my mic quality is inconsistent, my editing is mediocre, and most importantly i think my scriptwriting is sloppy as hell and should've gone through another draft to remove a lot of the less important parts and weird side-tangents i go on. i'm trying too hard to be funny when it's unecessary. my politics are overbearing. etcetera. there's certain moments where i'm cooking hard and making genuinely great observations of the show's themes and characters, like the start of S1E1 or the start of S2E7. but then there's also moments that are just plot summary and i find that to be far less engaging or meaningful. i think someone could EASILY make a better video than this one. but for me, making it was kind of this exercise of finally freeing myself of my old style of content by making this video so massive that i'd finally be able to move on. i lump this in with my old videos but i left this public because i think it's kind of this transitional point between my older and newer content. it's just as flawed as my other old videos, but it feels far more earnest to me.
