THE STORY OF DONGFENG RACE TEAM - VOLVO OCEAN RACE

This video is the story of DongFeng sailing team. It shows the genuine struggle of the team to prove themselves and it shows how, as the race unfolded, the ‘underdogs’ quickly demonstrated their potential against the other professional crews and, more importantly, their determination to do the Volvo Ocean Race.

Dongfeng means “the eastern wind” and this ambitious Chinese team, skippered by Frenchman Charles Caudrelier, is represented by a crew that is half Chinese, half international.
