This video is me participating in the Muscle Cars at the Strip event located at Las Vegas Motor Speedway on March 18, 2023. I was piloting Captain Proton, my 2007 Ariel Atom at the autocross portion of this event. I had a total of 9 runs but only recorded 5 of the 9, damn GoPro. I posted one of my slowest runs that I videoed and one of the fastest. However in both cases, my slowest and fastest were not recorded. My slowest run was the result of me over driving the course on very cold tires and punting a cone through a corner that I made straight, lol. My fastest was my last run of the day. I was able to build up some heat in the tires by trail braking 70% of the course. My true slowest time was a 43.xxx and my fastest time was a 40.020 (yes I remembered my fastest time of the day because I was really gunning for a sub 40 sec run). In this video, my slowest time was 42.xxx and my fastest with a passenger was a 41.6xx. And for the record, this video is not sped up.
