RuneScape music, but it’s Christmas!
We've added some new tracks for 2025: Spirit, Expanse, Theme and Vision
Background:
HDOS is a community project that is restoring the high detail graphics of RuneScape while maintaining its original charm. Endorsed by Jagex, this standalone client directly interfaces with the real Oldschool RuneScape servers.
A new system for the client lets us customize in-game music by directly modifying the audio stream. This video demonstrates sound modifications we have created to make a more festive, Christmassy atmosphere. These changes only apply to the snowy areas, similar to previous years.
All credit for audio and graphical visualizations go to Jagex Ltd.
