Watercolor Basics/Paint to Water Ratios and Charging in Color

Understanding paint-to-water ratios is a key to successfully painting in watercolor. Without having a good handle on that aspect, you will likely get very frustrated and maybe even give it up before you ever get to experience the absolute joy this medium has for you, and I don't want that to happen!!!!
In this video I show you the different levels of paper wetness, and the different paint consistencies described, and demonstrated. You will also learn how to charge in color, and also observe how, and why blooms form. I can't stress enough the value of practicing. Practice is the only way to learn technique until it is second nature. So, now go get those brushes and paints out, and start slapping down that color!!!
