Simple Sazon Seasoned Riced
Hello everyone! Since I have seen a lot of views on my rice video, I have decided to make another video about rice! No worries, my household eats too much rice as well! And because we do not want to eat the same thing over and over again, I have to spice it up to make it different, even though it is just basic rice lol.
So recently, I made a Sazon season rice and it turned out to be great and delicious!
My ingredients for this rice
3 cups of already washed white rice
Cooking oil (vegetable oil preferred)
1tbsp of garlic
1.5 tbsps of oil
2 packs of Sazon by Goya
1 tbsp of soy sauce
1 cup of chicken broth (or any broth you have)
2 cups of warm or hot water
How to cook the rice
Add your rinsed rice into a pot. Turned the stove on to mid-high heat.
Add your 1 tbsp of garlic powder, then add 1.5 tbsps of cooking oil and mix well
Next, add the 2 packs of Sazon seasoning, one at a time. Stir well after adding each mixture.
Add your 1 tbsp of soy sauce.
Lastly, add your one cup of broth and the 2 cups of hot water.
When all the ingredients are all in the rice, cook the rice for about 10 minutes. Reduce the heat to low-medium to steam the rice. Add a lid to help with the process. After 10 minutes of steaming, taste and then stir to ensure the rice is heating evenly.
Add half a cup of water and continue with the process, this whole cooking process should be about 30 minutes total; however, aim to achieve a fluffy texture to your rice.
