1. Open Yahoo Mail and log into your account.
2. Click on the settings icon in the top-right corner.
3. From the dropdown menu, select "More Settings."
4. On the left-hand side, click "Filters."
5. Click "Add new filters" on the Filters page.
6. IN the Filter name field, Name your filter, something like "Promotions."
7. In the "From" field, enter common promotional email addresses or keywords.
8. Click on the dropdown menu to choose a folder to move to, and select Deleted Items to move the promotional emails in this folder.
9. Save the filter by clicking "Save."
10. Go back to your inbox, and you’ll notice the promotional emails are now being filtered automatically.
11. In our second method, select any remaining spam emails by clicking the checkbox next to each one.
12. Click the "Spam" button at the top of the inbox.
13. If prompted, choose to unsubscribe from these emails instead.
14. To block specific email addresses, open a message from the sender you want to block.
15. Click the three-dot menu at the top of the message.
16. Select "Block senders" from the dropdown menu.
17. Choose your blocking options, such as deleting all existing emails from this sender.
18. Click "OK" to block the sender.
