Visiting Lake Bled in January felt like stepping into a winter fairytale. For two days, we were blessed with sunny skies, which made the lake’s crystal-clear waters and the snow-capped Julian Alps look even more breathtaking. The picturesque Bled Island, with its charming church, stood in the middle of the lake like a postcard come to life.
Strolling along the lakeside promenade, we enjoyed the peaceful atmosphere and stunning reflections on the water. A boat ride to the island was an unforgettable experience, and the panoramic view from Bled Castle was absolutely worth the climb.
The food in Bled was exceptional. We indulged in traditional Slovenian dishes, and of course, we couldn’t leave without trying the famous Bled cream cake – a delightful treat!
Our stay at Hotel Triglav was nothing short of amazing. The cozy ambiance, warm hospitality, and breathtaking views from our room made our visit even more special. Waking up to the sight of the sun rising over the lake was an experience we will never forget.
Lake Bled in winter is pure magic, and these two enchanting days left us with unforgettable memories. We can’t wait to return!
