This is a short video I put together showing the quality Mesut Ozil has brought to Arsenal even though he hasn't yet been at his very best.

Mesut Ozil on his day can be a truly outstanding player. When it clicks - the level of his ball control, passing, vision and decision making are pinpoint and a formiddable combo for any defence to have to come up against. Even when quiet in games, he will stay alert and pick out the most clinical pass with only one chance. He has been hailed by some big names in football as one of the greatest no.10's in the current football generation.

However since moving to Arsenal Ozil has had his fair share critics - some of who even suggest him as being overrated or a flop. Ozil has only had one full mixed season at Arsenal with moments of top quality shining through in some games. But the new season has started and the spotlight is on him to consistently reach top form this time. There are more pacey outlets available throughout the Arsenal attack and that is what Ozil seems to thrive with. He now knows the way of the Premier League so lets hope he can truly give Arsenal his best in the near future!
